  • DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN LIMA

    Upon arrival in Lima, our representative will wait for you at the airport to transfer you to the hotel in Miraflores. For customers arriving in the late evening, we offer the option to upgrade your hotel to the 4-star Costa del Sol Hotel which is directly connected to the airport. If you opt for the airport hotel, you can make your way over to this hotel and check-in. You will find that it is just a short walk away from the airport arrival lounge.

  • DAY 2 LIMA FOOD AND CITY TOUR

    Option 1

    Start your tour in the district of Barranco. During this walking food tour, you will taste various classic dishes and drinks. Learn how these traditional dishes are made, with every bite a new story arrives. Walk through coffee shops, art galleries, and small local restaurants to see all the Peruvian culinary culture. You will return to your hotel around 02:00 PM. Free afternoon.

    Option 2

    Visit Lima Center, and learn about the Colonial and Prehispanic stages of Peru! Visit the 2000-year-old pyramid in the heart of Lima’s residential district. Next, visit the Larco Museum to get an introduction to the country’s history. Enjoy a local dessert at the Museum Garden restaurant. Continue to Lima’s City Center to look at its colonial past. You will return to your hotel around 02:00 PM. Free afternoon.

  • DAY 3 AREQUIPA

    Today you will take your flight to the city of Arequipa. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. After a good rest, the first stop will be the principal market “San Camilo” founded back in 1881. Explore the surroundings of the main square and the incredible facade of Arequipa’s cathedral. Your next stop is the famous La Compañia Church, see the colorful Cupula with a unique baroque style. Take a look at El Tambo La Cabezona, a 17th-century apartment built following the classic colonial style, on your way to the Santa Catalina Monastery, one of the most fascinating colonial and religious buildings in Peru!

  • DAY 4 COLCA CANYON

    This morning get ready for a 160 Km. journey at Colca Canyon. On route don’t miss the amazing volcanos that surround the city, also stay alert to see llamas, alpacas, and wild vicuña herds grazing the pasture. Take a rest to enjoy a warm Inca tea made with local herbs (not included), this beverage will help deal with the altitude of the Andes. Reach “El Mirador de los Andes“, a popular high pass with astonishing views of most of the volcanos in the area. Take a few minutes to start the descent to the Colca Valley. You should be arriving at your hotel near lunchtime.

  • DAY 5 CONDORS VIEWPOINT

    The second day in Colca Canyon starts with an early visit to “La Cruz del Condor” a perfect spot to observe condors and the depth of the canyon. Back at the hotel, you will stop at the traditional villages of Pinchollo, Maca, and Achoma to learn a little about local culture. Finally have a free afternoon to explore the countryside!

  • DAY 6 PERUVIAN ANDES TO PUNO

    Today you have a scenic 6-hour journey to Lake Titicaca. It starts at your coordinated time. You will cross the heart of the Andean high plains today. The main highlight is the view of Lagunillas Lake. You will arrive in Puno in the afternoon.

  • DAY 7 EXPLORE LAKE TITICACA AND ISLANDS

    Go ahead to Taquile Island, and have a look at the rocky shoreline and clear water of the lake. Spend time enjoying the scenery and sharing with the local hosts. Learn about the textile culture and traditions, then enjoy a buffet lunch prepared by the Luquina community. Finally, visit the floating island of Uros, the man-made reed islands. Learn about their fishing and trading culture most with tourists. Return to Puno.

  • DAY 8 RUTA DEL SOL

    Start a breathtaking journey from the highlands of Puno toward the city of Cusco. The transport will pick you up and drop you at the tourist bus station. Enjoy the fauna and flora in some stops like Pukara, La Raya, Racchi, and the famous Andahuaylillas Church. At noon enjoy a buffet lunch. Upon arrival at Cusco, you will be transferred to your hotel.

  • DAY 9 SACRED VALLEY

    Meet the community of Viacha. Spend your time with a host family to learn about their culture. Take part in a short Andean ceremony, and do a small offering to the Apus and the Pachamama. Be part of the tasty lunch with the Viacha community. The last activity is visiting the Pisaq archaeological site, you can choose between a hike or private transport.

  • DAY 10 Inca Circles of Moray and Maras Salt Flats

    Visit Sacred Valley’s most remarkable sites. Moray is a unique Inca site featuring circular terraces constructed into a natural depression. Next, Unu for lunch, a delightful restaurant in the countryside of Tiobamba, boasting stunning views. Maras, an extraordinary salt-extraction complex composed of hundreds of small ponds. End the day with a leisurely and scenic downhill hike toward the base of the valley. This hike typically lasts between one and two hours.

  • DAY 11 OLLANTAYTAMBO

    Start your day visiting Ollantaytambo, a charming village that has not changed much since Inca times. This town is famous due to the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, a fortress with impressive Inca stonework only seconded by Machu Picchu. At lunch enjoy a Pachamanca, a traditional cooking technique that has the food prepared underground. Enjoy some free time to relax in the village then return to your hotel.

  • DAY 12 Hike Ollantaytambo to the Sun Gate
    Rebecca Adventure Travel Train to Machu Picchu

    Head to the Ollantaytambo station to board our train to km 104, the starting point of the trail. You will start hiking towards Chanchabamba, a small but important Inca site, which was probably used as a Tambo during Inca times to store and transport Andean goods to Machu Picchu. Continue hiking for another 3 hours to the Urubamba River to refresh yourself. You will have your lunch in a strategic spot surrounded by the mountains. Then hike for another hour to reach the Sun Gate and have the first view of Machu Picchu. Then take the bus to Aguas Calientes town for a well-deserved rest.

  • DAY 13 VISIT MACHU PICCHU

    Early in the morning, You take a 20-minute bus up the steep zigzagging road to Machu Picchu Citadel, located on an impressive mountain setting. In a 3 hours excursion enjoy the Machu Pichu ruins and learn the Inca Culture. Then return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the train to Ollantaytambo.

  • DAY 14 ANCIENT CUSCO RUINS

    Begin the tour on the outskirts of Cusco with a visit to Sacsayhuaman, a massive Inca fortress overlooking the city. The walking city tour will take you not only through the most touristic sites in Cusco, such as the Main Square, Cathedral, and Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), but also along ancient streets, local markets, and old neighborhoods.

  • DAY 15 RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

    Palccoyo Is an extraordinary experience in the Vilcanota Mountain Range and a great alternative to the extremely popular Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. The transfer in the morning is about a 3-hour ride to the starting point. The hike is short and flat; you only walk about one kilometer to reach the mountain at a lower altitude (4, 700 masl) with marvelous views and few people. Return around 05:00 PM to your hotel.

  • LAKE TITICACA TRAIN TO CUSCO alternative option for Day 11 is available at an additional cost. Train operation Puno to Cusco: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Alternatively, an early morning or afternoon flight from Juliaca to Cusco is possible. Please consult for these options as they are not included in our program.
  • The short Inca trial on day 14 has an additional cost. For this trail, you need a trekking permit, so make sure to book this tour at least three months in advance.
