Enjoy a day in the laid back village Mindo. There is a lot to do in this small village, located in a cloud forest. During the tours that we offer you, there is a lot to discover. You will visit a local chocolate factory and fly through the trees, while many birds are watching in the trees. It is located just 2 hours from Quito, on a winding path. It is officially located in the coast region, but easily to visit on a day tour starting from the Colonial capital of Ecuador. Next to visiting the chocolate factory and ziplining, it is also possible to spot a lot of hummingbirds and butter flies. What are you waiting for? There are two day tours going to Mindo. You can go on a shared tour with other travellers, or you can go on a private tour, with just you and your friends.

Mindo Ziplining Shared Tour

During the shared tour, you will go to the cloud forest village with other travellers. You will hike down to a waterfall, where you can even take a swim. Then you will fly through the views to see the cloud forest from above on a canopy line. Also you can visit a butterfly garden and see a lot of humming birds, and do a tour at a chocolate factory. Mindo Ziplining Private Tour

During the private tour, your transport will be in a private car and with a private driver/guide. Your day starts with a cup of coffee/tea and a delicious brownie at the chocolate factory (included). It is optional to do a tour here, to learn about the whole chocolate process. Then you will go ziplining. You will have 10 lines, to get the real adventure. After a local three course lunch, there is time to do an optional activity. You can go tubing or visit a butterfly garden. After that, it is time to leave Mindo, but not yet to go back to your hotel. First you will visit the middle of the world to learn about old tribes, and to do experiments to prove that you are really on the middle of the world.
