Yarina Ecological Reserve is strategically located in the rainforest and has the highest micro-habitat diversity in the low Napo riverside. This means that there are more species of animals, birds, plants, reptiles, and insects per hectare than elsewhere across the Napo river. Besides, the Napo river is the largest affluent of the Amazon river, located in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Yarina Ecological Reserve is situated just 60 minutes by motorised canoe from Coca and offers different types of activities every day of the week, like piranha fishing or observing wildlife and flora you will only be able to see there. Additionally, thanks to our professional local guides we can offer hands-on experience and achieve a wide range of possibilities to learn more about the jungle with its unique plants, animals and the cultural diversity of indigenous people. Explore the Ecuadorian Amazon by yourself and make your vacation an unforgettable one by walking through the area, observing alligators, nocturnal birds, learning about techniques and materials used by indigenous people and doing night excursions on the lakes.  Departure is possible every day of the year with a minimum of 2 guests. You can arrive any day of the week and choose between 3, 4 or 5 days for your stay.
