DAY 2 (B):
SALENTO – VALLE DE COCORA
After having a large breakfast, you will explore Salento, a beautiful Andean town which is famous for its coffee estates, verdant scenery and colorful buildings, especially in “Calle Real”. Besides, the town is a gateway to the snow-capped peaks of Los Nevados National Natural Park, to the northeast. Later, you will hike the Valle de Cocora, an activity you can’t miss! The wax palms, a national symbol of Colombia, rise up through the mist and tower over their surroundings. At 60m tall, their spindly trunks barely seem adequate to support their height. Later, you will be brought back to Finca el Palmar to relax a little and enjoy the rest of the day.
